Advertising is not just about selling a product - it's about creating a long-lasting impression that influences how people feel about a brand.

As a college student, I have been taught to see how advertising and brand management can be the difference between a company that’s just “okay” and one that has a loyal following, almost like a fan club. Think about brands like Hermès or even Starbucks; they don’t just sell products; they sell a lifestyle.

And it’s something you notice in everyday life; brands we are loyal to make us feel like we’re part of a community.

While studying in Barcelona, I worked for an art company that curates museum gift shops. In this role, I developed engaging content for product launches and brand outreach, collaborating with an international clientele while deepening my love and appreciation for Spanish culture.

5 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME

I’ve always been passionate about the arts, especially theater. Growing up, I loved performing on stage and being a part of theater productions. I still carry that same passion for storytelling, but it’s now infused with an advertising and branding perspective. (Sometimes I break out in song - I can’t help it!)

I have a passion for fashion, from analyzing runway looks to tracking trends. Most recently, I interned at the New York City office of VPR + Creative - a dream experience where I worked directly with brands like Retrofête and SER.O.YA to identify strategic marketing and PR opportunities.

A Summer Internship in NYC

I’ve lived all over, from Memphis to Philadelphia to Dallas and beyond. Living - and thriving! - in such wildly different cities has expanded my worldview, making me more adaptable, creative and open to new perspectives and experiences.

I'm Adaptable

I served as the first-ever Digital Promotions Director and Event Coordinator for my university's fashion publication, SMU Look. For the magazine’s off-campus launch event, I hit the ground running, networking with businesses throughout Dallas to share our story and ensure a successful turnout.
